Timeless songs, played between piano, guitar and voice, brings depth and intimacy to the beautiful songs in Jo Harrop’s repertoire.
Alongside music from her critically acclaimed original albums, she also covers the great American songbooks, Bacharach classics, as well as fresh arrangements of more modern artist’s work, such as Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen.
This band features two of the UKs finest jazz musicians and composers – guitarist Jamie McCredie, and pianist Paul Edis.
The trio have recently appeared at Ronnie Scott’s and supported Gregory Porter on his 2025 UK tour, including four nights at The Royal Albert Hall, as well as Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Dizzy’s Club in New York and SF Jazz San Francisco.
They have received rapturous reviews in The Guardian and Jazzwise, and are regularly playlisted on Jazz FM and BBC radio shows, including Iggy Pop’s radio 6 show and Jo Whiley’s Radio 2 show.
As a globally recognised artist, Jo Harrop’s music career continues to soar, and this is an opportunity to see her shine in the most intimate of settings, with stripped back, raw versions of her material, drawing the listener directly into her world.
She will be joined on stage by her wonderful quartet, featuring Jamie McCredie (Guitar), Paul Edis (PIano), Andy Champion (Double Bass) and Peter Adam Hill (Drums)
